Kickapoo Creek Festival 2024

This year we are again helping “The Friends of Rocky Glen”  with their annual Kickapoo Creek Festival at Wildlife Prairie Park.    We will be onsite on Saturday, the 10th all day starting in the morning.  We will have the Panther Creek pavilion set up with some of our primitive living and survival items on display for open discussion.

We will be doing a primitive fire making and cooking demonstration in the morning.  This will be followed throughout the day with survival topic discussions and demonstrations on gear, sheltering techniques,  cordage and knots,  best practices, as well as some historical perspective on many survival and wilderness buschcraft skills.
